Gas Station Chronicles
an installation of photographs and receipts on suspended galvanized aluminum flashing
The photographs were taken during stops at gas stations from May 2005 until December 2010 and are juxtaposed with receipts containing comments written on the back about where I was going or my state of mind. The images were usually made from where I was pumping gas and during the time the gas was being pumped.
